Dominic cannot accomplish the goals of his speech without a majority of the board working with him. Both Pete Hoyt and Toby McDonald, who voted down the resolution, are up for re-election next month. Aaron Snow and Irene Wieser are both new candidates running for the Caroline Town Board and both have expressed strong support for a fracking ban among their several goals for the town if elected. Support for the ban petition is strong in the town across all the normal political boundaries of republican, democrat and independent. I fervently hope that everyone who supports the ban will show up to the poles and vote on November 4th. This is simple. If we in Caroline want our board to act, we have to vote in board members who will support the ban, and we know that the numbers of supporters are there to do it if they only will! There has never been a more important local election! Vote! Tell your friends and family to SHOW UP and Vote. We can have the board we need and deserve in time to take action. It’s up to us.Jonathan Comstocknoreply@blogger.com
